Scalable was selected as a Cowen Startup Challenge 2022 finalist! We’ll be presenting our Code free and CAD free, Point and Click robotic automation solution at the conference and to a prestigious panel of judges to win the Cowen Startup Challenge cash prize. We hope to see you at AUTOMATE from June 6-9 – please check us out at Booth 4357.
Scalable Robotics is featured in the February 2022 edition of Welding Productivity. The article explains how Scalable's point-and-click teaching system enables any size manufacturer to quickly and easily create welding programs for any batch size without prior robot knowledge, training, or CAD. Ease of use, safety, cobots, ROI, and other considerations are discussed to help manufacturers understand the best ways for them to meet their particular needs.
Please see the article on Streamlining the Transition to Robotic Welding for SMEs in Fabricating & Metalworking Magazine, which describes how Scalable solves the remaining expensive parts of welding with industrial robots by: (1) reducing training for the welder from weeks to hours with no new skills for the welder, (2) reducing programming from whole shifts to minutes with no CAD at all, and (3) changing fixturing needs from expensive and fixed, to inexpensive and adaptable.
MTD CNC, the UK's most popular machining channel, interviewed our CEO, Tom Fuhlbrigge, at FabTech 2021. Tom shows Tony Gunn how easy it is to create programs with just pointing and clicking. The robot scans the part, so no CAD knowledge is required. The welder then teaches the robot the positions of the welds by clicking a handheld teaching stylus. The tuning and validation steps are automatic, but the user has an opportunity to customize the program based on their robot knowledge if desired.
SME met Scalable at ABB's FabTech booth. Please read the SME article about how Scalable Robotics and ABB's ArcPack U2 deliver an easy-to-use automation solution for any size manufacturer.
The Fabricator recently showcased Scalable Robotics and one of its success stories with Davidco Mfg. Davidco welds nearly 3,000 unique products, which made automation impractical before purchasing Scalable's solution. Welders became programmers on day one with Scalable's teaching tool, and new programs were created by them in minutes instead of days or weeks. Please check out the article and read the full case study.
Scalable shows for their demo at Fabtech 2021. A welding program was taught and tuned in four minutes without any robot programming experience. Towards the end of the video, Tom runs the new welding program live.
